Innovation in Woven Packaging
Strengthening its expertise in woven packaging solutions, we introduced the CSN 4 and FSN 4 models of circular looms —specially designed for the efficient production of cement and fertilizer bags. These advanced looms reinforced the company’s leadership in high-performance industrial bag manufacturing.
Scaling Up Extrusion Technology
In response to the growing demand for cement and fertilizer bags in India, we introduced a high-capacity tape extrusion line with a 450 kg/hr output, 1400 mm film width, and 350 m/min speed. This advancement significantly boosted production efficiency in the raffia industry. Building on our legacy of innovation, Lohia further expanded its extrusion capabilities with the launch of a 600 kg/hr tape extrusion line, maintaining the 1400 mm film width and 350 m/min speed. Leesona, based in Burlington, North Carolina, has over 130 years of experience in precision winding equipment for technical textiles. Acquired by Lohia Corp Limited in 2019, Leesona continues independently under the Group, expanding capabilities in winding technologies for high-performance synthetic fibres.
J.J. Jenkins Inc., founded in 1984, manufactures machinery for synthetic fibres, film fibers, and monofilaments. Acquired in 2024 by Leesona Corp (a Lohia subsidiary), it strengthens Lohia’s portfolio in specialty yarns and tapes for critical applications, including medical and defence.
A joint venture between OMGM S.A.S. (Italy) and Lohia Corp Limited (India), OMGM Extrusiontechnik delivers advanced extrusion and winding equipment for monofilament yarns and strapping, merging European precision with Lohia’s industrial expertise.
